Serene Space Massage of Sedalia

About Me

I'm happy you are here and excited to share my passion with you! I have been dedicated to my own health for some time and fitness is what kickstarted my career in massage. I wanted to share my interest with others and came to the conclusion that facilitating the recovery, health, and healing of others through massage and now sound was the best way to do that. I could not have predicted the positive effect massage and sound would have in my own life and how grateful I would be for it.

I received my training at East West College of the Healing Arts in Portland, OR and am thankful for my experience there. I gained strong knowledge of the body, its systems, and muscle structure. I learned valuable client communication skills and obtained a variety of Eastern and Western massage techniques to aid in the health of my clients. I also made life long friendships, had some amazing massages, and recieved invaluable mentorship.

After school I looked for massage continuing education. In that quest I found Esalen®️ massage and certified in the style in 2023. I also certified as a trauma informed therapist in the same style. The certification process was a transformative experience and ultimately shaped my philosophy of massage.

Just recently, I certified in Sonic Massage, a practice that uses Himalayan singing bowls on and around the body to induce a meditative state. It has brought so much joy to my work!

For me, massage is a lifestyle practice. I believe it can not only help in muscle recovery, muscle mobility, and relieve pain, but calm nervous system responses, bringing the client a peaceful state of mind, adding to overall wellbeing. As a practitioner, it is my goal to live by a healthy mind, body ethos in order to share health and healing with others. Congratulations on your own path to health, I'm happy to help!
